Wishing Our Lives Away.

The other day, my coworker said something that stuck with me, "We're always wishing our lives away."  I'm quite sure we were complaining that it wasn't 5 o'clock yet or the weekend was too far away.  I catch myself doing this all the time. Wanting to hurry and be somewhere else or wanting to do something else.  Wishing it was the weekend already!  I wish I could learn to be at peace and feel content wherever I may be or whatever I may be doing. That's not that easy.  I mean, who wouldn't rather be at home or with their loved ones. I would much rather be doing something relaxing or enjoying my friends. I'm going to have to work hard on this, it's not going to come easy, but I'm going to keep trying!!!

  1. You know Christian, I never really gave this much thought until I read this post. I think we are almost trained to think this way. I wonder if there is a way to "untrain" ourselves???

I absolutely love these photographs. Wonderful childhood memories :-)
