A Walk and a New Friend
We met this little guy on our walk at the Fullerton Arboretum. He just sat and waited while I took lots of pictures of him. He almost has a little grin. We saw the last lingering flowers hanging-on resisting the inevitable coming of Fall. I snuck some grapes and tomatoes from the little fenced off gardens. I couldn't resist. I ate a teeny red pepper and it burned my mouth like crazy! That's what I get for being "sneaky."

s i m p l e and a giveaway
A sweet reminder to me today. I need to practice being mindful of each moment and not let the overwhelming
confusion of our world to cloud the beauty that is glaringly there everyday. I hope your day is fully of beauty.
xoxo Christian

Walkabout
Nature walks always end up making me feel good. Uplifting me even when I resist going.
Scents of the flowers floating on the breeze, sun on my skin, little critters scurrying or buzzing about.
Dusty toes and sun-kissed skin. I always forget how much I love it until I do it.
Without nature I would wilt like a flower in the summertime.
