I've sort of forgotten how to truly relax. Those who know me will laugh at that since I take more naps than a cat. But when I say relax, I guess I mean letting go and really relaxing my mind. I can't seem to let the things that bother me stop swirling around in my head. I've forgotten how to let go and do the things I love. I miss sewing and getting lost in it. I miss taking pictures without worrying that they aren't perfect. I miss just being in the moment. I must remember how to do this. Gotta figure out the secret.

This is a wonderful photograph! So easy to get caught up in what we are doing and forget to just "be" and enjoy. Sounds like a Yoga class might be what you need!

ReplyDeleteLove the petals in your bath. I'd stay step #1 to relaxation is to not take your camera with you when you plan on soaking in the tub. ;-) (Couldn't resist.) I'm glad you did though as that picture is lovely.
